When I went out to Donner, CA for the Axial West Coast Championships I knew I had to extend my trip so I could stop by CKRC Hobbies in Reno, NV.
CKRC Hobbies is owned by Jake Hallenbeck, long time 1:1 wheeler and competitior. I've personally known Jake since about 2002 from the 1:1 competition world, so I was glad to see a few years ago when he stepped into the RC scene. CKRC Hobbies is located at 110 S. Wells Ave in Reno if you are ever in the area it is worth your time to stop by and see what Jake and his crew have on hand. |

| Once I walked in the door of the shop I was blown away by the amount of Crawler related stuff they had on hand. There was more in than 1 shop than in all of the hobby shops in the Denver area put together. They had more Axial crawlers on hand than I have ever seen in one place, and I've been to the Axial warehouse! |

| In the back of the store where most of the crawler related stuff is located CKRC has built in a rockcrawling course, complete with a running waterfall. This indoor course gives CKRC the chance to let people that are new to the Crawling hobby give it a try before they purchase their crawlers. |

| While I was browsing around in the store checking things out, Jake decided to go catch up on the RCCrawler forums. Judging by the look on his face I am guessing I snapped this pic just as he read one of Braceysdads posts! He's got that WTF look for sure. |

| It's not all fun and games at CKRC, they keep Jack Smash locked up in the back shipping all the online orders. The way things have been going for CKRC Jack is a busy man! |

| Judging by the look he was giving me I'm guessing Jack's been so busy filling orders it's been a long time since he'd seen another human being. |

| If you're ever in the Northern Nevada area make sure you schedule some time in your trip to stop by CKRC Hobbies. I was impressed for sure.
