I know! There are a bunch. There are the FJ50's as well, that were never sold in the US etc, etc, etc. I just want an 80, 60 and 40. Both of these rigs will end up on 35's. The 80 can handle 35's with no mods to the body. I will be taking my sawzall to the 60 to make room for the Good Years! | |

They only Krawlers they sell in 35's are the blue labels which suck in my opinion. I ran a buddies Jeep in Neuroc comp with them and would have been better off with my old 36 swampers. They just did not bite at all. I would stick with Interco. IMO. |

Digs, if you need advice on stuff let me know. I've got two words for your 60, SPRING OVER. I saw a 60 SOA on 35's aand that thing was pretty amazing. If you pay me I'll drive out there do the SOA for you. I can build the brackets, traction bar, shock towers, bumpers whatever you want. Jamison you are nuts! The Krawlers are an awesome tire in any size. They are equal to 2.2 moabs IMO. here's some of my work ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by rckjeep; 08-03-2005 at 10:02 AM. |

37 and 39 comp compound red label Krawlers now that is a different story. They are the best tire out to date. But from my experience 35 blue label just dont compare. You cannot expect the same results from them. Apples and oranges.

Hey Digler, I just purchased a 1993 Fj80 for $4,000. Been wanting one for about 10 years. The perfect vehicle to haul to family in. It has the full locker package as well. The reason I am Typing this is to ask a Question since you seem to be a 'cruiser guru. Both rear sliders leak into the back seat area. Is there an easy fix or do I need to get new seals. Already cleaned the tracks and it still leaks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is my real first venture into FJdome. I love them. They are one of the toughest and most well built rigs in the world. What other gas engine on earth can you get well over 300,000 miles out of with only regular maintenance? You can easily get 500,000 before a rebuild!!!! That is just plain cool! I'm not a Toyo guru just yet but I'm getting there. From what I understand....and have heard...and looking at my rear sliders, they all seem to leak a bit, even when almost new. You could try some new seals....let me know if it works! A 93 for $4000!!! That is a great deal. DOHC is nice to have on the old 3F. Is the rig pretty rough for that low of a price? |

The rig is in real good shape. Has 180,000 miles on it. As you said they are the toughest vehicles made. Where else can you get axles bigger than a 1 ton and still carry the whole family. Also, the cruisers had factory lockers way before that Jeep vehilcle. What was it's name, "foolicon" or something. I have been looking at this cruiser for 3 years. The owner had a heart attack and had to quit driving. His loss, my gain. Anyhow thanks for the quick reply. As soon as I figure out how to put pics up on the site I will.
