He's using springs from a wrangler in the front of his rig, and springs from a Bronco 2 on the rear of his rig.

I'm using rancho 44044 springs on the front of my rig, which are Jeep Wagoneer lift springs. On the rear I'm using stock Chevy 1500 63" springs.

Half ton axles don't like BIG tires. You need a 60-60 combo or a 60 front and 70 or 14 bolt rear. It's not just the amount of horsepower your running,it's the weight of the tires hanging on to the little components in your axles. Big tires need big axles plain and simple. I'm running half ton axles and a Toyota 4 popper and IMHO 36" tires are the max for someone that likes to GIT IT! I'm a little easier on my stuff when I ride than some guys so I'm gonna see how far I can go with 38's,when I can afford them anyway For now it'll have to do with my itty bitty 35's :(

I just did a SOA & axle swap with JC Whitney CJ7 HD(7 leafs) rears
all the around. They are military wrapped on both sides. Once they soften up they'll out ramp a 4 linked, coiled rig in our club with the right shocks. I'm the 5th person in my club to run them. My 2 cents. Oh and there cheap. $75 a spring

I have 2 samurai's a hard top and a soft top I use the hard top in the winter and the soft top as my summer toy and trail rig.Soft top has spring over with stock springs now also has 31 inch boggers and no tailgate or doors.I will post some pics when I can dig them up.I have been involved in mud runs most of my life (26 years old) and had my sammys for almost 7 years.

I never have.. And it sucks. I think it would be a blast. I have a 4 wheeler (Atv) and thats as close as I have gotten. Hopefully that'll change soon. Most of my friends tend to drop there trucks that raise them up. But I plan on buying a Cj jeep (as soon as I can find a solid one. ALOT of rusty ones here in Mn).
