Look on pirate4x4 at all the vendors. They usually have sales or will beat competitor pricing

Here's my old one:

Godzuki. 88 Samurai. 33 Swamper LTBs, YJ springs, 4 to 1 t-case, 5.12 axles, and 250000 on the motor! Would climb anything I pointed it at(or roll trying!). Body finally got destroyed enough that I gave up on it.

Just built this:

Godzuki Too. Fresh straight axle on Cj springs, removable doors, big steel bumpers, 5.12s stock. Just picked up a set of cut (missing every other lug) 33" X-Terrains. looking forward to trying those out. I wanna get a dual t-case set up in it. Needs more gear for crawling. Right now it will run over 100mph on 33s, and give 25mpg if you keep your foot out of it!

'71 FJ40, 3F, 4 speed, sprung over.

Its a work in progress, currently up in Stockton at a Land Cruiser shop having some work done.

Later this year will do locker(s) and onboard air, but that's a chunk of change...

Now I just need to find a lexan FL40 body so I can make its 1:10 version.

Gorgeous FJ, man! If they were more plentiful and cheaper, I could totally see myself in one instead of my Jeep.

But those are the best kind, especially without a winch.

...my bumper hooked me and caused the front end to dig off the rock and hang up on the front axle and still the rear bumper

Oh, also got some pics of it stretched out in moab
