My old post in this thread is rather outdated. Figured i'd bump it back to the top. Been a long transformation from stock till now, but its still fun. Think I'm ready for a buggy but that is in do time.

1980 Toyota
3RZ & W56
Duals with 4.7's & triple sticks full sky under skid
Tacoma rear welded
Longfields from with Sky goodies and tacoma brake swap
RUF front springs & Chevy Rears. Bilsteins all around
4x innovations cage, rest if locally bent and welded.

Tube work outsources (I suck) cage and everything else done by myself.

Got the chance to do a Crawl Mag Feature in moab this year

3RZ in its new home, I'm getting rather good at these swaps

That's the Pit Bulliest set of Treps I've ever seen! LOL!

Nice rig! With those axles, that motor, and so little weight, I suspect you'll never have axles issues.

Haha, those pits were sold this fall. These are the new shoes!
3150lbs with chromo's. I'll have to be a little more careful with the stickies but I don't worry much these days which is nice. I've spent a LOT of years crossing my fingers.

Here's my 2002 TJ before I tore it down and started rebuilding it.

Before Specs:
Stock 4.0L & 5-speed
Stak4x4 3-speed monster box
Ford HP Dana 60 Front
GM 14 Bolt Rear
115" WB
44" TSL's

In-progress build specs

GM Performance LS3
TH400
Atlas 2 speed 3.8:1
Same axles - building a new 14 bolt because the old one was bent and doing a deeper shave and better truss on the new one.
4 linking the rear
16" ORI's on all four corners
17" Raceline's
43" SX Stickies
New cage
New dash and center console

Current Progress.. The plan is to hit the fabbing hard right after new years.

Here's my rig....I've had it for about 7 or 8 years. Not a full crawler but more general wheeling. my wife likes to cruise in the passenger seat on warm days so I don't want to make it a trail only rig.

Specs:

2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport
4.0L – 5 speed
K&N Cold Air Intake
Banks Monster Cat-Back Exhaust
Edge Products Trail Jammer Kit
Dana 30 Front with Aussie Locker
Dana 44 rear with Yukon Zip Locker
4.88 Yukon Gears
SYE and Drive Shaft
Bedlined Interior
35x12.5xR15 BFG MT KM2
15x8 AR767
4" Fabtec Performance Suspension Lift
1” Body Lift
JKS Sway Bar Quick disconnects
Rough Country N2.0 Shocks
Hand Throttle
Rockcrusher differential cover
Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers
Smittybilt Stinger Front Bumper
Warm M8000 winch
Smittybilt Rear Bumper and swing out Tire Carrier

First 2 pictures are from when I washed it to be our wedding chariot . It does get dirty haha
