A typical one ton v8 toy. Built it up and had it since 96. Sold it last winter, I just lost interest in wrenching on the fullsized stuff.
Plus our good local trails are closed now, end of an era..

Not mine but I help wrench on it and drive it often, it sees more mud than rocks when the owner drives it but I crawl every time I get a chance behind the wheel. Not a lot of rocks near his campsite but there's an old gravel pit that's pretty fun.

"The Jevy"
80's Blazer frame chopped with an aluminum Jeep tub body (after rolling it multiple times down a hill and crushing the original body),1 ton axles, 454 engine, 46" MT Claws, front and rear Warn 9000's, not sure on the rest but the drivetrain is all beefed up.

accualy, most of the parts transfered from this 4-runner i had for years. thing was just too tall. the second pic was after my crash in it(my birthday too). that was the day i decided to put a cage in it. if any of you read 4wd toyota owner magazine , my 4 runner was featured in it.

Here's my junk. I don't have any pictures of it wheeling cause nobody I wheel with will take pictures. Maybe one day I'll get some. The tubing is all black, I started to do AC orange but I can;t get away from flat black.

Here's mine. Had to go back to a larger Jeep because of my son. He is 2.5 and absolutely loves crawling or as he calls it Jumping. We get out at least once a month. I have a couple of CJ's I'm working on too.

timmy tintop

'rescued' the little dude off craigslist. it was originally made by some guy in maine, then sold on ebay to a kid in wisconsin, who tore the living crapola out of it. i traded a pretty nice but not as wild samurai for it, then proceeded to tear the whole thing down and pretty much replace anything that was used to spn or stop.

1.6 tracker motor, yota axles, yj leafs, tcase gears, power steering... the usual samurai stuff.

i drove this thing daily in downtown chicago for over 2 years. then i would drive it 2hrs to the trails, wheel, then drive home. pretty solid little rig. i doubt i'll ever let it go.

i also have this thing which i now drive everyday. would love to someday do a solid axle swap, but not today...
