I just don't get the logic in dumping a ton of money into something crappy to still have it not be half as good as buying something decent in the first place that has a slightly larger initial cost. In the long run you'll have spent a heck of a lot less and have a way better "whatever it might be". Plus you know eventually you're just going to buy the better "whatever" in the long run anyways.

Aside from that Kami, looking pretty bad ass. Inspiring me to work on mine again.
For me its because all of this zuki stuff I have a large very inexpensive source of replacement parts. Thats the main reason. It will eat.....you will see.

I don't understand all of your thinking. I run a stock 1.3 in my sami and have never really needed any more than the puny 60hp it puts out. Its all about the gearing in these little rigs. The 120hp kick motor is plenty of power for a lite weight rig as long as you put the right gearing in it. You HP junkies make me laugh. I out wheel a shit load of guys with high hp rigs. You call Zuks turds, I call them Goliath killers. A ZUk owners modo is "doing more with less not less with more!"

I have a sami with the 8v 1.6L Track/Kick motor (was in it when I bought the rig). I cannot imagine wheeling with any less power.

Turbo's are cool, will be interesting to see how it works out.

Keep up the good work on this buggy, lookin' great.

My 22re aint no better I know that. But what we lack in power we make up for in longevity. 240,000 mi. and still rolling

I was searching some pics today and found some picks of my trail tough disconnect air actuated. It is on my toy case but same simple principle. The ram is 1 1/2" stroke. Can pick them up cheap at clippard.com. All you need is air source, ram, couple of barb fittings little bit of hose and simple pneumatic switch.
You will love it over the lever I gaurantee it.

nothing but a simple flip of the switch.

1. Doesn't look like pink was either

2. I hope that was private property, that's how trails get closed down, when people run bushes over and go off the trail

3. This one was a good video
