Just because its got a jeep hood and you bent the cage to look kind of like a jeep doesn't make it a jeep. What axles you running??? Engine? Suspension? Dirks point was not who's built up comp rig is better than a stock jeep. Personally I really like the new design. Jeep is finally give the wrangler the attention it needs and all you guys can say is it has a gay grill and stupid plastic fenders? stock rubicon will beat any production rig off road hands down. | |

i like it, yes they have moved away from tradition a little but if they have to to keep up with the market. plastic fenders may look gay but easyly can be pulled off. plus dc or well at least chrysler is the only american company out there makeing anything worth wild except the ford superdutys but i doupt they will ever be bad.

That windshield won't fold down easy. Doesn't have the hinges on it. But the more I look at it the more I start to like it. Take those flares off and a lift it would be pretty sweet. Don't get me wrong I'm 100% Jeep Man. I just wish the Resuce would come out soon and the Jeep pick up.

I think it's ugly as hell, but I also wouldn't buy a 4x4 for looks. If I wanted something pretty I'd get a car. |

I know I will get a ton of crap for this but I am a Jeep fan . I like ALL jeeps. My buddy loves them to. But I am also liking the Toyota's. I like them both. Plain and simple ITS NEW AND ITS A JEEP. Nuff said. If ya don't like it don't worry about what it has or doesn't have. I agree with all the people that like it. You can't argue that you can sign the papers and then hit a trail and have fun. Look at the guys that went to the USRCRC Nat's . They all RENTED Jeeps . Maybe not all of them were "jeep guys" but that's what is there to RENT and hit a trail. I say Jeep has a great product and I'm glad to own 3 and a Toyota. |

MY next vehicle w/ be a 4 door Rubi, w/ a small lift and 35s! Nuff said! I own a 63 CJ5 (still running strong) and a 71 Jeepster Commando, so I do have a little Jeep heritage in my back ground. I agree w/ DD, this is the most well equipped factory rig available. Jeep is only doing what it needs to do to stay viable in the market. The fact that it includes all the features listed and retains the solid axles, T-case, lockers, and such are just bonuses to me. I'm not looking for the next crawling champion. I'm looking for a good, dependable, extremly capable form of transportation that I can take just about anywhere I desire to go. Best of all it doesn't have square headlights! |
