Build looks good man. What happened to the front axle? I'm planning on KOH again this year and i'm a lot closer now, count me in again for pit crew!!
With all this building, when you gonna have time to bend me up a chassis? Maybe next year? I'm compiling parts, ready to start building right after KOH.

Sounds good man always good to have help at these races. As for the front axle. it got a little bent out at the hammers last year. I had to put those dam adjustable ball joints in it for now to get the camber right. So once I can afford the Carli set up it will also get a new trussed front axle.

That sucks, had no idea. Were you jumping it? I remember some bumps on the way back from BFG pit, but nothing that would bend it.
You should do free spin hubs at the same time, and get rid of the unit bearings. Did you see my free spin conversion on pirate? I put 79 Chevy kingpin knuckles on mine. Worked great.

That's cool man, Baldwin motorsports has a flat black megacab Chase truck, I see it around town from time to time.

What I wanna know is, where did you find an 06 mega with a 6spd? (you mentioned getting a new clutch earlier.) I've been hunting for one of those for months now.

I looked for a couple months all over the place i found an 04 extended cab on ebay that had the core suspension on it but the loan didn't come through in time. The I found this one at a dealer and deciced to check it out they wanted 27,500 for it. Told them I would give them 22,000 out the door the sales guy laughed at me. (Well lets just say they had only made one sale in the past 5 days) and an hour later the manager said he would do the deal. I wasn't even looking at mega cabs because they we all to much money but I got lucky on this one.

Lucky find! I don't want a new 6.7L and I'd prefer a 6spd. I'll probably end up with a quad cab long bed.

Have been trying to get stuff done after work. Mocked up one of the 35" km2 spares in the truck. It fits perfect I just have to call mastercraft in the am and get some y strap tire straps coming. I also have the tool box swing out almost done. I have still got to finish welding it and build the two latches. One will hold it in the closed and one will hold it open so the drawers will face out of the back of the truck.

Get some one to buy my Triple Bypass air shocks and I will make that happen.
There was a complete kit on the cummins forum for 4500. I could have made that happen If the shocks would go away.

All that rig support crap in the bed makes it hard to put the scooter in for riding, BUDDY

Always admired your fab skills, that toolbox mount is killer

it was in there last weekend. The main tube work stays in all the rest will come out. Actually the tube work in the front was put in there so I don't have to worry about the bakes bending the front of the bed any more.

Looks good I see the marks from the bikes behind the tube at the front of the bed now.

You guys make me think about coming out to pre-run on the bikes
