Where did you get the yellow one from? Looks like an '86 Dad had when he worked for C&NW, it even had a 6.2 Diesel with factory dual exhaust and was painted a bright yellow!

Does a mall-crawler count? Even tho I hate the mall, and have no family, I just love these buses...

I did the body and paint myself(what I do for a living) It doesn't show in the pics, but it's got a bunch of red ice pearl in the clearcoat

My 1:1 have had it 6 years now was bone stock when I got it. Gets odd looks not being a jeep or yota.

98 XJ. 127k miles. UpCountry package: 1" suspension lift, tranny cooler, tow package, limited slip rear diff, skid plates. Pretty nice set up. Running 30 x 9.5 x 15 BFG ATs for now. Next spring I plan on getting 31s, new bumpers, and a Rustys 3 inch lift. It's my DD so gas mileage is a concern... I just want a capable trail rig, not really a hard core crawler.

Looks good with all the GenRight garb. I may be in the market for their flares soon. Pretty much between the GenRights and the Crushers from Poison Spyder.

Thanks!

The GenRight stuff is nice that's for sure, and the aluminum takes a beating better than one would think!

I'm not a big fan of Poison Spyder personally but it is good stuff.

Their flares seem to be a little more cost effective, too.

I could've gone with the 55W projectors, but I didn't see any point really. The difference in light output between the 35W AC that I got and the 55W was pretty negligible really. And so far I've been very happy with them. And they weren't overly expensive like some others, either. I've got CCFL's installed behind the shrouds to reflect off the housings, creating a city light effect, but I don't have them connected just yet. I've been a bit lazy, but also settling into a new job.

I believe the guy is working on a website for them now, but I know you can find him on Facebook. HID Projectors is the company.

Here's a cople pics of them installed.

Low Beams @ About 30 FT

High Beams @ About 30 Ft

I don't currently have any pics of it on the road yet, but I've compared them to the new TruckLite Gen II LED headlights and they reach out pretty far and wide. I'm not unhappy with them at all.
That looks fabulous! Looks like a Mini H1 projector with Mini Gatling Guns. I used to run those projectors and loved them. I work for The Retrofit Source, we deal with those projectors all the time. It's are biggest seller. Glad to see a retrofit rather than cheap plug and plays! 55W ballasts in a projector that small can damage the projector bowl, after a while the additional heat produce by the additional power can cause the bowl to deteriorate. If you do want to go 55W, you will need to move to a full size projector that can handle the heat. Ballast output plays a small role in total output. The HID bulb actually makes more of a difference than ballast. A OEM 35W setup with Osram CBI's will produce more light than a aftermarket 55W H1 setup.

As for this thread, I went wheeling this weekend. Had a blast. I don't hav any good fenders left :(
