What kind of gas mileage are you getting now? On 33's with the superchips I'm getting 13mpg

I am still getting good gas mileage because I am still running the stock tires. Averaging about 16 around town and 20 on the highway. I know that will change with the bigger tires.

I get about 23-24 on the highway with 35's. I got about 27mpg with the stock dinky 29" tires. And yes, that's actual calculated milage, not just the stupid indicated one on the dash.

The best I have seen so far is almost 25mpg on the highway with mine. But, the motor only has 4500 miles on it right now too.

Thanks, I like the badges blacked out better too.

Man I would love 23-25!

Getting 13-15 in an '11. I'm in hilly north-ish GA (ATL Suburbs) though...

Yours is looking good, enjoy!

Must be the 37's. Everyone I know with them (me included) is around the same, no matter what gears.

To do list for this weekend included a new shorty radio antenna and removing the silver bumper cover from the rear bumper.

Picked up the new off-road antenna from Rebel Off-road last Friday. Install was as simple as it gets!

A shot of the stock antenna's length, which is really long.

The new shorty antenna.

To remove the old antenna all that is required is a 3/8" open end wrench.

I added a dab of Axial thread lock to the new antenna's threads just for a little extra security.

Installed. I haven't noticed any difference in reception from the stock antenna to the new rubber shorty.

I had to remove the rear bumper in order to access the screws holding the silver trim in place.

Re-installed.

More to come soon!

Looking good B-Rad! You sure are ambitious for just wheeling your family to the mall.

I know you guys are just busting my chops. Honestly, of the 3 Jeeps I have owned this one is superior to the other two in every way in my opinion.

I found some old wheeling photos a couple weeks ago, funny to see my old YJ now. Look at that flex!

My TJ a couple years ago in Big Bear.

For me, it would be the engine. The new motor is awesome, and gets great gas mileage with the new 5 speed automatic.

That looks like just the right vehicle for a young family Brad. It should be a memory maker for sure. When my family was young we had a motor home and my kids still talk about those vacations today thirty years later. Best part they all come with a campfire.
