| Toyofast's garage...
I'm not too crazy any more. Just simple rigs. - 1997 Jeep ZJ, stock, wife's DD. - 2003 Nissan Xterra, my DD and family adventure rig. - 1967 Chevy Chevelle Malibu, basically stock & in the family since 1967. My DD and family adventure rig, My Chevelle, the same car I drove in high school around 93-95. Then the wife driving off to take it for a spin, |

Love the Malibu. I dont see many 66-67 models around here. See a few Elkys but thats about it. Mostly all 68 and up. What does your Wifes Xterra have in it? My Wife had an 01 Xterra with the NA 3.3 v6 (170 hp) and I couldnt imagine it having enough guts to wheel worth a darn. |

The Xterra is rather tough. I had to look for a bit to find mine. I haven't done much other than add the ARB snorkel and remove some plastics. It's a manual transmission with 4.90's in the diffs. I have worn out BFG 265/75/16's on it now but am moving up to 255/85/16's soon. Then going to 35's once the SAS hits. The rear axle in my Xterra, H233B 33-spline, is almost the same size as a Dana 60, shaft size. It's next to impossible to find a Xterra that has broken a rear axle or diff. I'm still in the planning stages to the SAS. I'm pretty sure I'll do the NW Fab dual case adapter, Dana 300 t-case, FJ80 front axle with HP E-locker and SPOA in the rear. | |

Dang... I like where you are headed with the x. I was wandering why you hadn't lifted it yet, makes sense now. I have been thinking of doing a remote mount turbo on my fronty.

| Re: Toyofast's garage... I know!!! Kinda weird working for Toyota and no longer owning a single Toyota. The wifes ZJ is bone stock. No frills. Just over 100K miles. Runs perfect, drives near perfect and always has gotten 19mpg no matter what. |
