Last weekend I headed up to Rausch Creek Off Road Park for an FJ NorthEasters charity trail run in memory of Fallon Jade Rilling. For those of you who don't know, Fallon is the late daughter of RCC member Eddievedder, Bob, who passed away not long after birth from an extremely rare lung condition called ACD. Bob and his family have set up a foundation to obtain a grant to start research on this extremely rare lung disease. The FJ Northeasters every year do their trail ride and donate to a charity fund, this year it was to help one of their own and the group raised 7000$ .

Our angel, Fallon Jade

It was great to be part of this event, the Hilux was big hit in the sea of FJs. They had some great sponsors from big companys like Trail-Gear and Powertanks. It was a great trip, wheeling with great friends and even got to hang out with a n00b Although next time I'm gonna try and get Rich to run blues with us

Here are a few pics of lux in action, this truck is so capable its not even funny. I only use to maybe half its potential. I haven't touched any of the inner workings on the truck, haven't needed too, Dean did such a great job on it.

Here comes the flex

I think it looks like an RC in this pic

Thanks for looking

I hope you don't mind, I found a disc from 2010 with some JV pictures on it, thought I'd share a few pics from it's previous life.

Shes still going strong, the bed is sadly rusting again... much worst then the last time. Apparently the sand blaster didnt get underneath the top rail good where the bed side is seamed and they didnt separate the the lower half of the bed sides when they did it either so all the rust beneath the caulking that is between the top and bottom is blistering bad there. Ive decided its not worth messing with it anymore. I spent a lot on it last time so im gonnna leave it be for now till it gets really bad and then ill either do a glass replacement bed or have a flat bed built for it.

I got in on the 50% pitbull tire sale when Trump go in, still waiting on the tires but those are gonna go on the steelies and I picked up the vintage gold center ENK style wheels that Im gonna toss a set of pavement pounders on for daily and beach use

I also have a turbo parts truck that I wanna rob the 22RET from and swap that in for some fuel injection and added drive-ability for tackling the hills in PA when I drive it to the trails

Oh man, that sucks about the bed! I'm sure whatever you do to address will come out looking nice, though. Gotta say....I'm really diggin' the gold centered chrome steelies!

Bummer on the rust Mike. If you lived out here, it would never be a problem. Lol

Good score on the PB tires, I was trying to get some tires for a buddy of mine but missed the cutoff by minutes.

Love the wheels, obviously you know how hard those things are to find. My 83 has narrow sunken in 15s, it's tough to find something other than black wagon wheels.

Yeah I was really upset about the bed, but as of this year I kinda just accepted the fact that it is what is. the cab, floors, frame etc are all solid so when the bed gets terrible ill just replace it. I am still undecided if I should do the glass bed or just build a mean flat bed like the Atomic Toy... its a tough decision

Ugh I know...I am on the wrong coast... all the things I like to do are out west activities. Im here stuck on this crappy island with no where to wheel, no where to drag race, no where to play toy trucks...long island sucks

I am stoked to get the PBs, the Maxxis have really kicked ass for me but I couldnt beat the 50% off
