I told the driveline store to make me a bad ass driveline that can take a punch, thats what they gave me.

Edit: Can you even buy a CV with a slip yoke on it? (a cv with a slip yoke end on it instead of just a place to weld on a tube)

I honestly don't know. I didn't realize that your driveshaft had a CV on it.

I finally bought myself a welder to use while I'm up at school...I've got some projects lined up which should keep me busy for awhile (and hopefully not be too expensive). Get my my bed finished, bumpers, unibody reinforcement, and I've got a buddy with a tubing bender so I'll probably build a internal cage.

The plug on the welder was broken, so I had to replace it. Also had to wire in a 220 outlet in the garage, which wasn't too hard since the breaker panel was in the garage and the wall was never finished.

Well Over the weekend I got most of the panels for the passenger side cut out and got one of them tabbed on. I'm not looking forward to the other 144 tabs I have.

On another note, I also tore out my seat and interior body panels too so I could start planning the cage. While all this stuff is off, I'm going to rewire up my sound system as I have a broken wire somewhere and I never hooked the deck up to my amp/subs so I'm going to get it all tied together before I put the seat back in to go wheeling next weekend.

There really isn't any good way to tie my jeep down the trailer. Wrapping around the front axle causes the chain/strap to rub on everything (Tires and tie rod mostly). Rear axle has issues too.

So, I decided to weld on some ruff stuff 1/2" tabs onto the front axle last night. Still need to get tabs on the rear axle and get some new D rings for the trailer, But I think this ought to work out nicely.

(Forgot to get a zoomed out pic, I'll get one later)

That is a half way decent looking exo cage. Good job, I normally hate exo's with passion. (Hence why I haven't just done one yet, But i got something coming)

I'm working on a getting a 60 up front in mine. I think I found a buyer for my axles and rubi express kit...I'll probably put a ball joint 60 up front and a currie rear end into it, if it all sales.

So I finally got around to buying abunch of metal to have around. Found it on craigslist...Mainly bought it for the 90ft of 1.75" .120 wall DOM, 40ft of 1" .120 wall EWS and 40ft of 1" .062 wall EWS. There is also alot of 1" square tubing, 1/2" x .062 strap, and 1/4" rod. Plus alot of other misc. square and rect. tubing.

The pile i bought

Put away in my garage

I got it mainly for the round tube, for the cage I'm going to build. I'm going to start doing a full internal hybrid cage in the cab, front fenders, and will probably do some cross braces in the engine bay.

I bought bend-tech pro to start designing it in the computer and I got my buddy to buy a jd2 model 32 bender with a 1.75" die and 1" die.

Went wheeling a little over two weeks ago and broke something in the front end.

Tore apart the whole front end today and it's looking like I broke the big center cross pin (the retaining pin and other half of the big pin is still in place)

and, of course, it seems like all the off road shops are closed today and tomorrow for the holidays.

Also, my propane heater is putting a pretty good toll on the propane tank...
