Picked up this old girl last week.Anyone else got an old hilux,or any hilux?
Throw em up lets have a look!

Here's my new one.First hilux i've ever had,I've been looking forward to this
for ages and i finally got one.I mainly do beach/dune work when i go camping
so i thought a hilux would be good as they're pretty light.SFA too

The colour schemes pretty odd but it's growing on me,i'm even
diggin the brown graphics down the side.I'm the third owner,
she's got a few cancer spots in the tray and misfires sometimes,
but with a bit of work she'll be great fun.

Did the diff/transfer/gbox oils lastnight. The front diff looked
like it hadn't been done since it was built

Love this thing.

1985 hilux (rn67)
5 speed,4y petrol

I'm thinking of getting "sunny" on the plates.
Future mods are a locker or two and some new suspension,
probably a 2" lift to replace the springs,the fronts look like "W's"

Here's a few more pics when i took it out for the first time.Managed to get stuck
by being a bit optimistic.After this she only ran on 3 cylinders and we had to camp
in the bush in the freezing cold with no gear until the morning.Luckily being a hilux
she started in the morning and we drove home.

What size lift has yours got? looks like a beast.
Nice to see it getting used for what it should
