I guess he could order up a Diamond axle and have it done anyway he wants. http://frontrangeoffroadfab.com/nfos...9bf0ee434c6e60 | |

I been 'wheelin' for about 15yrs now, and can say without a doubt, KEEP the Ranger! Good little trail trucks! I wheeled nothin' but B II's and Rangers for years U could go with an HP D44 from the front of an EB, they are about 1-2" wider and would make a good mach for that 9". But if it were ME.....go with a TTB set up, either D35 from a 4.0L/Explorer, or a D44 from and F150 (takes a little more work, but "doable") I'm sure others will nah say, but with the TTB you get the best of both worlds. Strong like a SAS, but it rides nicer, and has better clearance @ the center. Plus I like the way a TTB truck works off road @ everything! Just do a cut and turn on the beams and U can run about 4-6" of lift w/o drop brackets |

a lot also depends on your type of wheeling, if your on rocks your going to want a solid axle if you wheel on just dirt and mud trails where crazy flex isn’t as necessary then go ttb, or if your going to jump it a lot and desert race it ttb is cool to, if you wheel it at the mall then just leave the ifs, chicks dig it. It depends on a lot of things, where you wheel, what you can get your hands on and what you can afford to do. Also personal preference, I would never wheel with out a solid axle again but that’s me my Toyota will cover the small desires I have to get air every once in a while and is well on its way to covering my crawling addiction. I found my Toyota for 400 bucks add 150 for check up maintenance and I had a well running solid axle vehicle, set of junk yard ford springs and the rears up front and I’m tall enough to clear 37s, you going to be way deeper than that trying to swap a solid axle in to anything, Toyotas aren’t the best but they are dirt cheap and fun, and for that price I can wheel it with almost no cares.
