All Pro Offroad Kits!!!!!!
 

;-) So im thinking of getting me an early graduation present!!!...Ive pretty much decided to get it but just wanted to throw it out there and see if any of yall that wheel in the states have any feedback about their kits...Im planning on getting the 7.5" extreme lift kit and the Flat bed kit...Heres what i have on my truck so far.....

1984 Toyota Pickup single cab
5 spd
22r
Headers
Lockers front and rear
5:79 gears
flowmaster exhaust
Webber carb
Centerforce clutch
7.5" lift Super lift springs on front and Trailmaster springs on the rear.
33x14.5" SSR's on 15x10 Steel Rockcrawler "streetlocks" for the road
33x14.5" boggers mounted on 15x12" beadlocks for the trail.

I dont plan on doing MAD crawling but like to have a capable rig none the less..We do have feilds of Lava here!!!!If you look at the pics under Flat Bed Kit...My truck will pretty much look like the the yellow Toy...Pics soon!!!

The SSRs definitely run or at least look larger than 33s. A buddy drove with them and his Toy and it always seemed like they were 35s or even 38s for some odd reason. I really like how your rig looks with what you have in the pictures.

I ran 35s on my Toy with only a 4 inch lift and it worked ok. However, this was on a 79 Toyota. I used Downey springs and shackles only.

Here is a shot circa 1990 something running the above mentioned lift, swivel perches, and 35" Boggers. This was on Wrecking Ball back when it was (un)known as the X-rated trail. Man I miss that truck.

MAn it would be CRAZY to be able to WHEEL in yalls areaers:lol: :lol: ...We got hella LAva feilds but also LAva tubes that can cave in so kind dangerous but fun!!!Dig the rig!!...Yeah my SSr's run like 35's..When everything is installed im planning on running 35x10" BFG Mud Terrains cause there a pretty good tire thats inexpensive!!Should look pretty sick...

I was originally going to get a kit from them but for alittle more i can get the flatbed kit and suspension from All Pro!!!

the guys at all pro are really cool and helpful. when i got my coilovers for my taco they were right on with their stuff. good quality stuff, no regrets or problems with their products. good luck with your finals "thumbsup"

That's a sick Yota. I am looking for a early model Yota, hopefully a 4-runner. I want a 83 or 84 for the solid front axle, but I don't mind IFS.

I ran 36's on my 4runner with the same lift and it was awsome bot no pics tho.............

older full size jeep cherokee leafs and 7 inch shackels will give about 5 1/2 inches of lift, soft ride and, more flex than almost any kit in the market, and its cheap.

I ran Toyotas for years ranging from mudders,crawlers,prerunners and tuff truck race trucks.I learned a lot and one thing I did learn is stay away from welded gears and the 5.71 gears.The pinion is very weak on 5.71's,I always ran 5.29 gears and still went through a chunk at least once a year.4.88's are great if you decide to go with a dual case set up from marlin crawler.All Pro is jam up especially there high steer kits,tell you the honest truth the best Toyota to set up is the 87-95's.

Reason for the 87-95 is :
-front of the frame is straight and not as prone to bending,in the wheel well the 79-85 arc more.
-steering box is side to side swing,all set up for crossover steering
-newer yotas tend to not have the frame rust the older toyotas have(back by the gas tank on both sides)I have broke a few frames because I never checked the frame for rust.
-fuel injected 22re,easy to get power out of thanks to lc engineering.
-Wider rear end in tghe independant trucks.
-if you find a 6 cyl with auto and 31" tire package it will have 4.88's already installed
-if you find a 4cyl ,auto you will get the 4.56 gears from the factory
-if you can luck up on a turbo model you will get the rf151 tranny with the low first gear and the hd v-6 style rear end .
plus lc engineering has new headers.turbo kits to get reliable 200 plus horsepower for the 4cyl."thumbsup"

I have found not to get gready with cams on the yotas ,a step above stock ,a weber 38dgav car,tri-y header and 2" exhaust work great(don't fall prey to the big exhaust thing ,you need back pressure,run the exhaust all the way out the back,trust me you will lose torque by having the short dump by the door exhaust some people run.
Clutch-I cannot say enough about the centerforce dual friction clutch,its expensive but darn worth it.Mine lasted through two builds and I sold it with my prerunner and it still was going strong.I would have gone through two stock clutches so it was worth the extra expense.
Front driveshaft-just go ahead and have a super long travel front shaft built,do not go cheap.once the yota starts to flex good it will drop apart with the 5" travel stock shaft,you will be surprised how much the front shaft moves in and out once the springs break in.
