Rottenbellys #2 Well after almost 2 years without a jeep we decide to get back in one. I wanted one with the newer motor and a 6 speed. Going be a bit of a learning curve with the clutch offroading but I have a few years of building before I go hardcore anyways. So I found a 2015 sport with the 6 speed for a good price. No rubicon since I most likely will be going with some heavier duty axles down the road. Overall the jeep with the newer motor is way better than my 07 auto!! http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...213_175201.jpg Came with the little 16 inch sport wheels so I grabbed some rubicon wheels of Craigslist for 800 bucks and some rubicon sliders for 100 bucks. http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...215_160733.jpg Ordered a PSC bumper and recon 10,5 winch. Ran the same winch on my old jeep and had go luck with it so I am trying it again. I am going to rewire it when I get home. http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...229_163150.jpg |
Re: Rottenbellys #2 Next comes the protection, took off the stock evap skid and installed a Poision spyder customs skid. Then full Evo skid system. http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...DSCN1289_2.jpg http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/DSCN1294.jpg http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/DSCN1292.jpg |
Re: Rottenbellys #2 More protection.PSC rocker armor. Nothing like drilling into a new jeep to put in the dreaded nutserts! http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...408_081727.jpg http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...408_081739.jpg While the side arm was out getting powder coated I installed a Tera flex leveling kit and cut my fenders so I could fit some 35 maxxis treapadors on spyderlocks. Fenders and leveling kit... http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...410_154723.jpg Got my side armor back from powdercoat, installed wheels and bed lined rear inner fender. Also cut 2 inches off Rubi rails for tire clearance. Had to take it to the local mall to crawl some curbs and take pics.... http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...y/DSC_7941.jpg http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...y/DSC_7945.jpg |
