72 Plymouth Road Runner
 
MY 72 Plymouth GTX optioned Road Runner

I took this car completely apart 15 years ago
A 2 Year project

Completely STOCK ( the way they should be )
GTX option package air grabber car
440 4 bbl auto
727 tranny
8 3/4 Sure Grip with 3:23 gears
Color is original HB-1 Blue with black interior

I have the original rims
It sucks gas like there is NO tomorrow :)

Well..... If I take it easy on the throttle ( very easy ) 15 mpg Highway
12.5 mpg in town

But driving it, who can take it easy :)

That's actually not that bad, my 2003 Dodge Ram only got 10.1 mpg in town, and not much better than that on the road.

Nice bird. I had a daily driver '72 Charger painted same color with B5 interior with a 400. Those 400's were a favorite of motor builders.

My best mate owns a '72 RR painted "my wife calls it calf shit yellow" butterscotch. Back when he & I met, around '98, I hated that body style. But it's grown on me quite a bit, to the point I was looking at RR/GTX's a while back to possibly buy one. You just don't see that many up here.
