Now for the front--same thing I cut all the link brackets off and removed the truss and got it stripped. Not sure where the caster is going to be so for now all the outer stuff will stay in place...

So I have been friends with jason/trevor for years who owned S&N fab and always loved the Bravo II chassis. Well as fate has it there old chassis table/ Jigs for the lower portion of the chassis were offered to me to use. Well of course I will borrow them. Went and got the table and everything needed and got the axles up on the table.... |

So my old pro-tool notcher was simply wore out after many years of use so I got this new unit (along with all the tools that swag makes for it) and made a nice holding fixture for my vise.

Once I got the lower tube figured out I cut it in the middle and sleeved the inside with some 1 1/4" material since its the one tube that takes a constant hit. Help give it some longevity.

So I got the "sled" all built. I made the front WAY longer than it needed mainly because I didn't know how I wanted to do it yet so I made sure it was far enough out there to have material to work with....

So with the skid plate all tacked together with the lower link mounts it was time to pull it and get the whole works welded up. Once done it was simply too heavy for me to pick up and safely set back into the chassis....

Upper mounts at the skid plate--these could only be done once the skid was fully welded and in place--as you can see they are really tight to the upper tube.

Started the rear mounts. I had a buddy cut all the link mounts on his table to help save time...

So my original intention was to build it on the table but found when it came time to start throwing the motor/trans in I felt it was too dangerous one manned to do so. So I pulled the sled off the table(one manned ya gotta get creative) and leveled it on the floor. At this point it was time to get the link mounts finished up on the diffs...

Rear housing was pretty simple. Just a bunch of gussets on the mounts but had to make sure it all cleared the chassis....
