Default I need new brakes for the Rubi!

Hi RCC, my love for cars doesn't end at just rcs...

This thread is going to be not just brakes but a finishing buildup on my 2005 Jeep LJ starting with the brakes. First I am hoping to get this.

The Vanco Jeep TJ/LJ Big brake kit

Just curious if those are the same calipers from a Grand Cherokee WJ?

Oops... I was thinking rotors, and that would be wrong too because the spread of the bolts is larger.

I only asked because I remembered seeing 'big brake' kits for basically anything that had the Dana 30 up front and the components were just basically brand new WJ components. One of the few things that were good about the WJ.. ( I owned a few, I speak from experience)

They are for a Dana 44 I believe, but I may be wrong so possibly, also I'm sure they make this for the Cherokee too.

I looked after my post, they do offer a kit for $1069.00, although that would be worth every penny over stock. I do wonder how well they would look for Non-ABS trucks like mine, I can just see 2 long, 8-9 inch wide black stripes since it's only got 235/75R15 AT's on it

just FYI the LJ/TJ rubicon front dana 44 is essentially dana 30 outers. I'm a little rusty on the details as its been a long while since I fooled with them, but if memory serves me correctly, they are identical 44 and 30 from the knuckles out.

thats a big if and I may have more than several rounds of narcotics and such through my veins from all the surgeries in the meantime, so don't string me up if my information is off.
