I would tend to agree with Adam and phillyb on that.

I run a 3" body lift on my Bronco. They help on Bronc's because the transmission tunnel is very small and it is difficult to run anything but the stock 3spd manual or C4 auto.
I have cut as much fender as I can without losing the look of the Bronco or having to tub the rear end. I have 5" of suspension lift, so I am reaching the limit of the drivetrain. So a body lift helps me run the 39.5's. This is not a daily driver, I will only drive it on the street occasionaly. I also drilled out all of the body bolt holes and upgraded to 1/2" grade 8 bolts for additional strength.

what year is your bronco mines an 82' and i have a c6 with no problem and no body lift?

Default Good Point!!

[QUOTE=TwistedCreations]it makes working on the trail truck easier, sometimes having to reach in to get to the top bolts of the trans and stuff

That's got to be my favorite reason for body lift!

Does anyone think they can explain how raising the body, could be worse for COG then Suspension Lift?

wow, those are the fugliest trucks ive ever seen.

that pretty much SUMS IT UP what i said about ALL SHOW N NO GO. i am 100% i could break one of those just by farting in its general direction.

swampers must be popular over there, since i only see 2 other tires in your post. that land cruiser with the huge fender flares reminds me of the artic trucks. i seen it on the discovery channel. they run huge balloon tires, like 44+ in tall, 15-18@ in wide. they have to cut the body so much that they run the giant fender flares that look like that. of course the artic vehicles are highly modified, and most of the vehicle is built tough to survive the artic.

something similar to these

http://www.arctic-images.com/Arctic-...Equipment.html

but the ones i saw were a newer truck with similar sized tires.

seems that whenever i see modded 4x4s they fall under two categories. one would be street vehicles (like those posted) that arent really built tough. and two - vehicles that are put to the test, in places like australia and the artic. guess which one i think is more badass??
