Thought I would post up about my 1980 that I used to have a few years back....wish I still did. Thinking getting into this hobby will satisfy my urge to build another one for a fraction of the price

Specs:
1980 Toyota pickup long bed
Fully rebuilt 22R with Throttle Body Injection (TBI) off a 2.8 v6 in an S10
W56 5 speed transmission with upgraded Marlin Crawler clutch/pressure plate
Marlin Crawler dual transfer case adapter
Marlin Crawler twin stick transfer case shifters
Marlin Crawler 4.7 gear set in rear case
Custom drive shafts
Detroit locker rear with stock 4.375 gears and axles and brakes
Lunch box locker front with stock 4.375 gears and axles and brakes
Custom front leaf back and Chevy 63" leaf pack in rear
Bilstein 14" front / 12" rear shocks
35" KFG Mud terrains on 15x10 wheels
Bobbed bed, winch, dual batteries and a bunch of other stuff I am forgetting

Let me know what ya think! It is probably obvious I am looking at a TF2 but am considering TRX4, SCX10 II, Bomber, Everest 10, etc. as well for my first rig. I think the TF2 would be a nice to have but not sure it would be the best starter kit.....
