That is awesome! A 1:1 TF2. I'm not even a Toyota fan at all, but this is very cool since it's old school and this was the height of Toyota trucks IMHO.

Sweet bike as well! I don't even remember seeing a tri color version before.

Thanks. That’s a graphics kit. My Husky was built when MV AGUSTA owned Husqvarna. Thought it was fitting.

Nice. Has the Husky been reliable for you?

Oh shit! I just noticed the Buell Racing banner in your garage! Do you still have your Buell?

Beautiful truck!

I remember riding in one of these when I was a kid back in the late 70’s and told myself I have to have one of these when I’m old enough.

I wish there was more of these around today!

Damn that's a straight truck - love those old Toys.

Rollbar and rear bumper are totally matched, wheels too.

(Hah, here I am acting like it's an RC build you just completed...)

Husky has been real reliable. And no, the Buell was sold when I got the Husky. It was a '98 S1.

RC version looks great.
That is what got me back into RCs..
Found an old RC body that matched my 1:1.
Came here to find out what chassis to run and....
They have multiplied like Gremlins ever since..
That was 6 years ago..

That truck has 200,000 mile? You must take great care of it because it looks immaculate.

Nice bike! I have an XB12Scg myself.

What's the chassis under your RC version of this truck?

I wrenched for Toyota for over 35 years before I retired. So over the years whatever it needed it got. It's been up graded with a 22R and 5 speed. Engine, trans and diff rebuilds over the years. We painted it about 15 years ago, complete interior 3 years ago.

The chassis under thr RC is an SCX 10 ll.

Oh that makes sense. I was thinking it was all original.

A lot of it is. The original spare is still under the back. The only time it's been on the ground is when we pulled the bed for painting.

That is a gem! Well done taking care of it! Have you had any issues finding parts to maintain it?

Not so far, although they’re getting rarer all the time.
