Brad, I wanna know how you fit all the "required" equipment in your jeep when it's full of scallers and comp rigs? Looks like a good place to play.

I was lacking the proper gear for the trail, but had the essentials with me.

That's what I thought! So were you standing in front of your house trying to decide "Delrinator" or "Hi-lift jack"

I was just up that way not too long ago. We are doing a tunnel for an oil company up there, was about 1800 feet in a mountain about to punch through. Only real offroading I got to do was ride on the Roadheader TBM.

That was my first time to CO period though. Rock Crawling heaven is all I could think about.

Josh

P.S.

ITS A DRAGON AHHHHHH!!!!

Thanks. I've never heard of Billings Canyon either. We had one of the Colorado trail books, and set out for Bangs Canyon. There's a sign at the entrance to Bangs that has pics of Billings Canyon on it, that's the only reason we found it.

We didn't actually run the whole trail, we found it about 4 in the afternoon Saturday and we were the only vehicle around. We started up it until the obstacles got big enough to swallow the Jeep, then we turned around.

I'd like to go back with a couple more rigs and do the whole trail sometime though.
