Default 1:1 buggy putting on a show

My buddy took his new buggy out this weekend.
All i can say is 502 cubic inches,47 inch ltb's,rockwells, rear steer, and a heavy right foot make for one hell of a show.

Sounds and runs good, but the driver sucked. That rigs new to him right? More driving time and he will be unstoppable....So did he ever talk with CRAWL Magazine yet?

I do not know if he has talked to Crawl yet or not.And yes this is only his third time out in the buggy. As for him being a sucky driver i beg to differ. He was one of only a few that made it and there were several on there lid at the bottom. This spot is way worse than it looks on the vid.If it was not for him getting use to the rear steer as fast as he has, he would have been on his top several times. He will go places that most will not even try much less make.
If you think he sucks mabey you should drive down and try to run with him sometime i think you will change your mind.

From this end it looked like he sucked, but like you said we weren't there. I know I wouldnt be trying that with my rig, I'd be one of those guys at the bottom.

Looked like too much air in the tires too, or maybe its just that you need cut boggers for that type of trail. I'm used to watching Dibble make that stuff look easy, lol

Damn nice buggy though, looks well built and sounds mean as hell.

I do not think dan could have made that trail look easy this weekend.
He was one of two to make the trail on this run.Tim took his new set of cut boggers off and went to the 47's for the extra height and because of the sidewall. And yes there was alot of air in the tires about 11lbs.He had a serious problem with cutting the sidewalls on the 44's and is trying not to have that problem with the 47's.
I talked to Tim alittle while ago and he said that CRAWL took pictures for a magazine spread yesterday.

I've seen that buggy in person..........if you can't just point it in the right direction and gas it then the trail ain't easy.

Here are a few picks someone else posted on another forum .
The cj-8 is belongs to Mark Phillips

The landcruiser also belongs to Mark and is drove by Brian Cole the builder of both rigs and Tim's new buggy.

I am not sure who this is but i do not think that would have been a fun ride.I also belive the jeep that he rolled into was occupied by a woman that i heard was not a happy camper.

That picture is of the same spot in the video right? Definitely looks like a tough spot.

How do the cut TSLs work?
