2007 XRRA US Finals.........Video and Pics Added!!

We're down here in Colorado Springs for the 2007 XRRA US finals. Went through tech today, not a problem. Saw Slowrockr and BigTex there, TMYJeeper brought his camera so you can bet they'll be some awesome pictures. After tech we went and checked out the courses, WOW! the Xrra has out done themselves this time. Huge step up gap jumps, doubles, uphill tripples!!! I'd almost rather have a motorcross bike this weekend, that is until I get the the 14 foot straight down drop off:shock: which in the afternoon you'll have to turn around and go right back up:shock: There is even one 90 degree corner that has at least an 80 degree bank, yes the car will be on it's side at speed going around the corner!

I know a bunch of you Colorado guys are heading down here tomorrow, let me tell you now you will not be upset, the courses are long and have tons of super hard spots.

If you have to be home by 5 so your wife can put your balls in the freezer, you are gonna miss a ton of the action. It's gonna be a long day:twisted::twisted::twisted:

Obviously no one, which is why I am here working now sir.

I had Aaron install a wireless setup and laptop mount in the buggy so when I get a little time and am in the air clearing the 20 gap, I can log into RCC to make sure things are going well.

We need video of that.

Can you get overall layout pics of the course? I've been wanting to make a scale Rock Racer for a little while and if I could also make a scale course of the one that you guys are running on that would be killer.

He can probably do that with the webcam on the laptop while he's on course.

Onboard action shots.

Don't listen to her Jason. She's just mad that you're so much more cooler than she is.

Rubbaneck 09-28-2007 10:51 PM

I'm in. Thanks for the chance!

I didn't bring a camera. I have enough going on without having to take pics as well. There will be plenty of photographers out there though getting good pics.

Up early this morning, off to the races!
