Snowbashing run at Bunce School Road

Here's a little video from our snowbashing run last weekend.

I took the Bronc out for the first time in almost a year but all the work to get the blower, new radiator, dual fans, and tranny coolers in there was worth it. Everything worked flawlessly. "thumbsup""thumbsup"
The Bronc is ready to play again.
Hope you enjoy. Mine's the yellow one for those not in the know.

Good thing you turned those wipers off so I could hear the engine.

Brandon 01-04-2008 10:31 AM

Nice Grizz, doubt my yota would survive up there

Those rigs sound nice! We needed a little more power last time we were in the snow, but it looks like you guys are covered in that department 8)

Yeah, it's so hard to hear the engine I had to do what I could. Even had to tell the family to be quiet.:lol:

Thanks B, I'm sure your Yota would survive. It might need some help from a strap in some spots but we'd get it through. "thumbsup" There was a built Yota at the top of the hill, at the end of the movie. It had 37's, and exo, and a supercharged V6, he elected to turn around after we came out. Too bad, I'd like to have seen how it did.

Thanks guys. 8)

The CJ has a Chevy 383 stroker with a Vortec supercharger.
The red Bronc has a Ford 418 stroker with AFR heads. We estimate it's about 550 hp.
Mine has the 302 with a Holley roots supercharger.

Thanks Ryan. "thumbsup"

My Dad has a 69 Bronco project, 302, Dana 44's front and rear, Disc brakes in the works, power steering, race tranny, Beard bucket seats. Its a fun rig, and were just getting back into it. Hopefully up and going this summer.

Good luck with it, sounds like it will be a cool rig. Why a 44 in the rear though? The 9" is much stronger.

Thanks Brad, it is for sure. I had to really kill the resolution to post it, the DVD version is much clearer.

These are our hot rods. If I owned a street hot rod I'd have lost my license by now. With these, you can open up the stupid-pedal all you want and not get any tickets. The only consequence is hitting trees. That's the real fun of it. "thumbsup"
