Default AMC Eagle SX/4 project

Time to do up a body for the XC, since it's sitting on the shelf all lonely and naked. Solid rear, indy front, unibody, sounds like an Eagle SX/4 to me

Think I'll trim the front & rear overhangs a little before I go much farther.

Starting to look like an Eagle now

I know the proportions are all wrong, but I prefer the short WB on an XC, so I'll live with stubby. Not like it's a great beauty anyway.

YES!!!!! Sick sick sick sick sick. I love it! I've been waiting for someone to do an Eagle body forever. BTW, if you EVER get rid of this I call Dibs!!!!

yes, it's stubby. And it's too bad. It looks a little funky that way. But oh, well. whattrya gonna do? (make another one and send it to me to get a SAS swap and be a brother to the Gremlin! )

It's even shorter than the real ones. I own an 80 AMC Spirit GT (same thing as an SX/4 Eagle, just not 4WD) If you need anything for pictures, measurements, etc. let me know!

BTW... can I suggest some inspiration for you?

This one has been SAS'd and EXO'd...

Full-time 4WD, and the biggest BFG's I could stuff under it!

And yes, you have a problem . Don't seek help though...

Looks like I touched a nerve with this build

Started on the headlights and did a little more sanding to get the body lines in.

First layer of resin is on. I took it to work so I could use the easy-bake oven Also reinforced the rocker panels with carbon, as well as the usual spots.

good god man....

I am soooo glad I have to move right after we get back from montana....

After 60 hours in a truck with you I'm sure I would have enough ideas for builds that my girlfriend would finally snap!
