Very nice Mike... I was wondering what ever happened to that body. I have an un-used MSD alum winch if you need it, LMK BD |

| Thanks, I actually have another new unpainted body coming from a scale 4x4 member which I am really really excited about. I am also trying to seek out a big bear interior. I test fitted the one from my stepdads and it is a perfect fit.

Man, and I thought Terry had it bad. He's got a cabinet with every body ever made. He says he "needs" them in case someone wants a top for one.I know he's just hoarding them. And yes admitting is the first step. Good job!!! A drop bed would be sweet too. YOU CAN DO EET!!! |

I see you scored that Big Bear interior off the bay. When are you getting back to work on this rig? And your YJ too? I guess the flatbed yota is taking up a lot of time. Either way all of them are gonna be mint when they are done.. Good luck with your multiple builds! That crawlin spot is near sag harbor. |

I did win the interior, Thank you for finding it Soon as I get it I will get back to work on it, gotta build a front bumper and get some aluminum to make some velcro body mounts for it. My wheels from BD should be here today, and I got my TSS chassis painted and assembled. Just need to build up axles and I guess im gonna run some tlt dual coil overs until I can get some rc4wd ones, so the YJ will be rolling fairly soon. | |

Sweet, my schedule rotates so I am coming into weekends off soon so maybe we can meet up and take a ride out there. I know you mentioned somewhere that you work at Riverhead Toyota so maybe we can use that as a meeting spot and cruise to Sag Harbor from there.

Yikes, its been over a year since I last update this thread Well, I haven't forgotten about it, and I recently pulled it out of the show case and re-worked the whole truck. 1st order of biz was the frame. The Bruiser frame was bent/tweaked somewhere in the front. It made the bumper sit out of line with the body and the WB was off on one side. After several shady attempts to rig it and make it work I finally had a enough and disassembled the entire thing and scrapped the rails of the Bruiser frame and tossed the cross members into my Bruiser parts inventory (any one have just a set of frame rails?). I had an 11" WB ute that I had ordered for the Blue Lux and ended up going with a 12" WB chassis so I decided to modify it fit the SWB of this body. Here it is now Some things that I was able to re-use was the front body mount using some fast eddie spacers, and trimming the rear body to fit as well. I picked this r2 of ebay for 50$ and drilled the holes in the chassis one size larger and it bolted right up The front has Big rig leafs and my 2/3 cell battery shackle mod. The rear is sporting Chino leafs, RC4WD revolvers, and high lift spring mount hardware for the front perch. Since the last update, RC4WD blessed the scale community with kick ass 1.5s and tires and these black ones were a must for this rig And here it is as of now I have the big bear interior for it, and a super rare Nao/panasonic winch which fits in between the grill and front bumper perfectly I am still thinking of cutting out the back window and doing a drop bed but we will see what happens...that could be another year from now Thanks for looking -Mike |
