When did RC4WD start making the trailfinder cat edition? Gonna be sweet if you can get the body to the correct proportions. Probably gonna have to extend the frame though on the tf.

| Yup, that's the plan. Or maybe have some new longer framerails cut out of stainless. But that will alwyas be an option.

I'm gonna have to keep a close eye on this one. I have an 87 Burb for a DD and I was thinking of doing the same thing but hadn't really decided on a body yet cause I couldn't find a burb like mine. |

Tyres on the rims, i quite like the combo actually. I've testfitted them on my F350: Also a little dry fit to the chevy body: |

And the chassis assembled for now: Another little testfit with the clod body I love the width of the D40 axles. Just exactly right. Could be a nice pair of trucks: |

Okay, i finally had a spare hour to start hacking. No way back now!! And then there were four.... A crewcab is also very cool. 14 inches of wheelbase!!: That's how far i got. Still need to shift the rear wheelwell forward and extend the overhang a little. See my own car as an example: By the way, this is my byproduct, would make a cool ultra short wheelbase vehicle I think i will be using the spare bed to strengthen the seams when i glue the thing together. That's it for now. |
