I do have some fender flares, but they're pretty big, and i'm still a little doubtful about cutting up my suburban body . I'll leave it like this for a while. Maybe i can shrink the fender flares a little, they're made out of rubber, so i might use the tyre-shrinking-method.
I used rubber fenderflares for my Blackfoot. Had to cut them alot, but with some sanding and some new paint it came rather good! Not finish yet, but getting there.

Soon gonna buy some clods and make a sub myself I think. I might have to ask your metalworker for a chassi!

But seriously I think narrowd axels would make a big differense. The rig came really nice with the new tyres!

Maybe T-rex 44 mini's or something.
BUT, then i will have some TF framerails, axles, bodyposts and some wheels left. Then i will be obliged to build another car.... Don't know if my Girlfriend will agree with that :-) Maybe use the axles and Framerails for my Hilift F350...

Heheheh, that's the thing, the grass is going to be "rock garden" (read: Crawling course ). So since we decided that, i don't feel obliged to cut the grass.

Thanks Bodean, i'm not sure i like it either, but i'll leave it on there for now. I'll get working on the body again, and let the bumper story rest a little while
Still need to make some rocksliders as well for the sides. Some 6mm tubing would be fine for thati think.
To bad i do not have much time this weekend...

A color, that's a good one. I'm thinking brown. A nice and awfull color
Not the exact same color as my 1:1, but still, kind of the same look.

Looks kick ass with the 1.5s, not a fan of the brush guard thing on top of the bumper, liked it better without it.

X2! And I think the bumper would look even better if you make it black. But I'm not a fan of chrome.

A little update. I've been busy with other stuff but still managed to get some stuff done. Just no time to post it

Still need to trim the fenderflares, but this is the width with flares:

Also made a new bumper, much like the old one, without the winchprotector.

The chains are a little coarse to my liking, so those will be replaced. Need to find some finer ones.

Attached the antenna to my rear bumper. And made a tennis ball out of miliput.

I added some connectors i can just plug in and out when i remove the body

Made a mount for the on/off switches for the ESC and the lights

And the fastening system for the front of the body.

A bungy attached to the body that you pull over a screw attached to the frame. Simple yet effective.

Some overall shots with the new color. The paintjob is very crappy though. The new paint reacted woth the old paint and it bubbled up. Very happy... NOT!!

That's it for now.
