That's a good idea for the chassis mount steering! Thanks for posting the pics.

Took the Hilux out last Friday and rolled it down a hill, cracked the bed and toolbox. Sorry I didn't get any other pics. Repairs are underway hopefully I'll be done in time for this Saturdays GTG.

Thanks, I like that I can change batteries without removing the body. With alittle more work I'm sure Icould make it waterproof.

Well got the body back together in time for another day of hard wheelin. Did more damage but this truck is ment to be run hard. I also got really good result with my new rear leaf setup. It's just the stock bruiser spring with the shortest Hilift spring. Mounted the spring in the 3rd hole so the spring was more to the front. I mounted it like that to act as a antiwrap aid. It seemed to do the job well. I run 2s lipo with a 27T motor in a R2.

Got it alittle muddy, the only damaged was the motor. Commutators don't like mud.

Those pics are cool. I was trying to convince the B Bros. to just plant grass around the rest of the course.
That mud pit was gooey. I'm still cleaning mud off my rig.

when I used to play R/C back in the day, there were foam endbell covers. I was thinking of using .one to keep the mud out

the slingers are a great all around tire, they perform well on most surfaces except tacky mud. they "pack up" easily/

Thanks but I wouldn't call it skill, just took a shot at it and got lucky.

Thanks, I love the look and function of bobbed beds. I hate getting hung up on departures.

Snapped a few shots yesterday. Everytime I run this truck it suprises the heck outta me.

I actually use non-lubricated condoms. Alot of people used balloons but I like the toughness of condoms. I cover my endbel to prevent mud from getting in. I just cut the condom to the length of the motor, slipped it over the motor and zip tied in around the can and the lead wires.
