Default Honolulu. HI-lux

I started my 2nd scaler. Scored the truck as a ARTR from a member here. I started in early January but I decided I wasn't gonna make a thread until I had a good amount done. When I got the truck in had TLTs but I saw the Yotas under 1BJBs Ute and had to have to have set. Then I replaced the stampede trans with a R2HD mounted on Chino skid. Then I moved on to the OG body, I bobbed the bed 1 1/2" and did a drop bed. I still have to detail the bed, mount the steering servo and OG interior and lexan glass. I don't wanna get to ambitious and have this truck become a super long build, I wanna enjoy it. It'll never be finished, as my skill improves and money becomes available this truck will go trough many changes.

nice rig, fella.

I know what you mean about never finishing a project, I've been building my yota since last october! I only just got the chassis running.

ALL my rigs are WIPs...til I sell them. I would love to use this as my "street" truck but I don't think the leafs could handle the abuse. Thanks for the compliments guys, I'll try my best to keep this build progressing.

I'll bring it for "show n' tell". I still need to mount the steering servo to the chasis and hook up the elecronics for it to be a runner.

Made alittle progress. Started making a tool box but still need a hinged top and cover it with daimond plate.

Impatience got the best of me. Mounted the steering servo on the frame then I hooked up the rest on the electronics and took the truck onit's maiden run in front of my house. The suspension doesn't flex very well but I hope the springs need to be broken in.
