XJ looks good. I noticed you really like running a droop setup, do you think it has an advantage over sprung? Maybe I missed it but do you run any type of internal spring?

I run internal springs in all of my rc4wd shocks. There is no real advantage for me personaly, I like sprung as much as I do droop. Its more of a ride height issue. The 110mm coilovers with coils are just to tall, and the 90mm or 100mm don't flex enough. So after removing the external coils and tuning the internal springs on the 110mm's I have a resonable ride height and just enough flex ( too much is bad ). Depending on the rig and body some droop shocks I run a spring on top and bottom of the piston, that way it still is some what sprung-like but looks like air shocks sorta kinda.

Droop also keeps wheel stuffage and fender rubbing to minimum for me atleast.

On my Honcho I run rc4wd 110mm coilovers with external coils up front and the same 110mm shocks in the bcak but with internal springs. It sits level because the SCX10 shocks towers are not at the same level ( MARGINAL ). Same goes for the Wreckluse I set up for a friend.

PLEASE EXCUSE THE ELECTRONIC MESS on the Honcho, some soldering needs to be finished up.

So how do the Stompers perform on loose dirt? The terrain in the pics look similar to wat we run on and I have two sets of Stompers for my EB and wife Bruiser, builds posted soon when I progress more. I really want to try the new Mud Hogs from RC4WD but the release keeps getting pushed back.
