Looks really nice! I was wondering if you would tell me the colors you used and the brands? Thanks.

Thanks Bob, I painted up the floor pan and scotch brighted the under side to dull it out. No more pics as of yet guys, start a new career tomorrow so progress may be slow, I did however order a RCBros rear leaf spring kit and a handbrothers 3 link kit for the front

| Damn! Your phone takes nice pictures. That looks great. The copper color is beautiful. I almost bought those tires/wheels last week, how are they? From this pic, they look like exactly the diameter I was looking for too. Good Luck w/ the new gig |

Finally, some real pictures of this thing... I have been pretty busy but managed to get the interior done up this weekend and got some out doors pictures. The interior I went with a black and tan, came out pretty good but some black bled through I started by ditching the stock decals of the cup holders and put in some real sodas and an Axial 5 speed shifter Tossed a floor mat on the passenger side and installed some Axial window cranks and arm rests Next was a bowtie Stereo Deck and switch panel for the ARBs and lights I needed a 4wd shifter and found a parking brake lever from a 1/8 scale camaro model that looks like Jeep one lastly I drew in some stitching lines in the seat and slapped it all togther Next on the agenda: HandBros 3 link front kit Rear Leaf spring kit Wrangler head lights convert front header panel to 99 and up and add corner marker light Snorkel And then.... |

Very nice... now with all that interior detail you need a driver figure... or torso...

Got to work on the commanche some more. I did my head light mod and installed the wrangler head lights Also reused the mirrors and wipers from the Tacoma shell as they were a good fit for this body as well. After all that I swapped out the front links for some slightly shorter ones and adjusted the upper 3rd link. I also swapped out the shock ends for the shorter rod ends .I then reinstalled the electronics and took it out for a shake down run. The truck worked well, even with it sitting lower then when it was a Tacoma. It does need some new rock sliders, the stock ones dont sit against the body right so I will make some of my own. Thanks for looking -Mike |

Very nice...can't go wrong with Tamiya Copper and the headlight mod came out sweet. The snorkel looks a bit out of place to me though; perhaps a brace to make the gap appear less akward? |

The snorkel is for a Hilux, but after looking at my stepdads XJ its very similar. I do agree, I still need to get the upper part of the snorkel more against the A pillar.
