Default hotrod chassied yota

got this body today.will be starting on custom built chassis tommorrow.also got 1.55 rock stompers and steelies on the way for it.





started on body before it got dark.

side windows rolled down.



and sliding back glass(well open anyway).

dont know if i will go with this chassis with drop belly pan for peedy tranny.





or this one and transfer case.

Update for tonite..

got leafs,axles,and temp wheels and tires on it now.

stuck stock roll bar back on it for pic.will be building one like it out of brakeline with working lights.



and a cpl flex shots.this is with now weight on it yet.







will be doing some Thanksgiving work on it tommorrow.

got new wheels and tires today for this thing,and wow they are huge.gotta get some smaller ones.





son cant help it.he has to play.with my rigs.





looks like i am off to the mud bog/race.lol

started front bumper for this thing today.started raining.we are supposed to have some severe thunderstorms and possibility of tornados tonite and tommorrow.:(
might just bend the rest of it up tonite and hope for the best tommorrow to finish it up.

Lookin good. Any plans on moving the front axle forward? Front bumper looks like its coming along nicely.

thanks alot.and yeah already have.just had to adjust the hangers a little.got hangers at one end of each leaf tightened down for stays.

sold the tires also,now just gotta get some smaller ones for the wheels.

yeah i liked them too for the looks,but they were a little tall for what i am planning for this thing.

They looked spot on for a southern truck. Big tires and fender lovin by Mr. Sawzall.

wow been awhile on this thing.got new tires mounted.also new leafs,robbed them to go under BLUE chevy.





got front bumper finished also.pics within the next cpl days. been working on other unfinished rigs as well at the same time.

Looks like you need to make one of your leafs hangers stationery. If you have shackles on both ends it will allow the leafs to move around and your axles will move and change your WB as you drive. You can use the single hole TLT brackets for them, thats what alot of folks use. Other than that it is looking real good

thanks man.and yeah i have one end of the hangers binded down so it stays stationery.but thought about going with the tlt stay instead.then i will have some extra hangers for another build then.

well back to building this thing and should have it done real soon.got rx on the way.already got esc and gotta get steering servo and it will be ready. well might go with tranny case and homemade engine block and hpi gear reduction also like my 1.9 chevy.
