Is the guy selling this legit? I asked for current pics and he said they were current even though they were from 2012 I may be wrong and would love to have that rig, but I say buyer beware unless he proves me wrong.

I wouldn't buy something without current pics of said item.

Last I heard of it, Rednck still had it. Just because I asked him if he was ready to sell about a year ago. Something is a bit fishy, even when I PMed the "current" owner last night.

Might switch out to king shocks; did u use 90mm front and 80mm in back? Also toying with idea of canti set up. might try a different wheel, add some lights, maybe a repaint....

Finally had some free time to tinker with it and drive it to see how it does. I was very impressed "out of the box", but I did not care for the 4 link setup in the front with a CMS. Vanquish LED light bar mounts, an RC4WD link and two screws was all that was needed to make it a 3 link with panhard. That made the suspension cycle much more fluid as well as keeping the steering straight, as a panhard should. Parallel and perfect. |

| Re: GARAGEWORKS LJ build...Adding another LJ to the fleet! Thank you, Mike! That's very nice of you to say. I look forward to continue to improve it and give it the attention it deserves. Thank you for building a spectacular LJ! I mean the attention to detail is just out of this world. With some brainstorming, some of the things I would like to do are: -RC4WD Ultra Scale driveshafts (if they ever come back in stock) -Inner fenders -HeyOk 2 position switch (because its cheaper than getting a new radio) -Possible hardtop or soft top?? -Brake rotors -Use my styrene skillzz to build a GenRight Fuel Cell for behind the rear seat -Try to adapt Axial universals for the K44 axle housings. |
