Default Mr. Ed's Suzuki Samurai

Well It's taken a while but I'm almost done with the chassis and tube work. Got another couple of coats of black and on to reassembly. I still have a ton of work to do. Due to tightness of money I'm reduceing my butchered Flat Irons to 1.5 got 1 tire done but 3 more to go. Need to build the shocks. figure out the steering. And other minor stuff. Keep in mind this is my 1st brazing job and major chassis build. Half the joints are mig welded and the other is brazed. Hope you like it, If you don't...it's not your truck anyway

I think it turned out great, nice job! Those bends on the fenders are impressive, that's a hard bend.

Well looks like I will have to bust some tail to get the Sasquatch up and runnin on its own chassis by then...I think Jbirds even gonna do a more scale style rig so we can bash the beaters then pull out the scale rigs and do more technical/careful trail riding. We had a blast doin that last time, should be even more fun when we all have a rig for it!

Got her painted...the photo does no justice...the color is Mountain Dew metallic green but it looks so dull and off color in the photo....Dont know why, but this is the lastest update....except for what I got done tonight...which you'll have to wait some for that

My Mud thashers sould be here tomorrow so i can get the REAL rims and tires on here so I can start working on the shocks, ride height, etc....Hope the wife don't see the package come...or I may be in the DOG HOUSE! Fedex be discret please!

Well thank you Mr Fedex Man Hell I didn't even see him drop off the box and most importantly either did the wife! I Got my steering figured out and fabed up and mounted. Got the rims and tires mounted up also...Now I can move on to the little things like locktight, and build shocks.

I plyed around with the settings on my nikon D40 and got the color to show up a little better...its not perfect but close.

I built my sammy and painted her a bright orange like my 1:1...but that paint right there may make me paint my 1:1 just like your scaler...idk, I just really like that.

Sorry if im over reacting lol.

Thanks! You know this build is partially your fault...I've spent some bucks just to have a rig 1/2 as cool as yours

More pictures will be comeing but I haven't really made enough progress to eff with photobucket just yet I did get a sharpie fine point and made the body lines. I also have a Major eff up picture on the way too...the color is pactra metallic green. I painted silver on the inside of the body and green on th outside. I used pactra outlaw black for the soft top but it came out too shinney, next time I will go wit a duller black.

I would say that it is twice as cool as mine! It would look even better if you took a fine point sharpie or such and did the door lines. Wicked cool Sammy!
