Doing work at our start of the series event last Sunday. Pretty cool place for man made, with water and slick slimy muddy spots. Pit Bulls worked flawless!

Definitely love the lil Courier! It looks great in black and i like how you did the drop bed. I really need to overhaul mine and do a drop bed in it. I might
borrow a few ideas from yours. And the pitbulls do look good on there.

Thanks! The drop bed is my favorite mod that I did, and even with the touring car shocks in the back, it still crawls amazingly well. By far my most favorite rig to drive to date. The Pit Bulls work and look great, but I need to find some new bead locks. Not digging the stock SCX's on it, I'm thinking a set of these would be perfect. Once they're out.

Mini update.

First off, totally disassembled it to clean all the mud and mossy-goo off of it from the last outing. So while I had it all apart I thought it would be a great time to add that interior I've been meaning to get to. Used the Pro-Line PLC interior for the XJ. After a little bit of trimming and some heat to clear the spur, it fit just like it was meant for it. Kept it real simple with just some flat black, Pactra 2 stage backer #304, and an interior tan model paint. Added some Ultimate R/C decals and some team3six goodies to finish it off.
Also through on a set of my new SS links to complete the clean-up.

Thanks Bro! I still need to install a winch and I'm going to add a little bit to the front push bar to make it more bumper like and a mount for a fairlead. Still waiting for the Gear Head five slots.

Looks like it be a tight fit between the rails.

It would be close, I think there is just 2.5" between the chassis. I would want to put it on the lower part of the frame, between the middle and lower bars. Hmmm, I'll have to do some measuring.

DANG...you beat me to the interior, I was wanting to do an interior that was light and wouldnt hurt performance on the CompCourier. I looked at the Proline interior and was gonna give it a shot. Now I know itll look good!

HA! That was my thought too, keep it light. It performs so well that I'm always nervous about making any changes, but this one didn't hurt a thing.

I didn't have too trim it too much, just cut the top part of the door panels that return to the body and then trim the edges of the dash to fit the profile of the more rounded front window. Then I grabbed the heat gun to finesse the passenger seat for spur clearance. When fitted in place, the top of the door panels come up about a 1/4" shy of the bottom of the window. Hence painting it black, can't even tell. As for mounting, I used a strip of servo tape to attach it to the hood, and then some Velcro on the back of the seats to the back of the drop bed. Also threw on a couple of dabs of shoegoo for good measure. I can be hard on things once and a while.
