Default papa smurf on 1.9 mtzs NEW PICS 10/14

So here are some of the parts I have collected and some still on their way to me. It will be on a scx10 chassis with full leafs. Steelies with tss rings and stompers, RC4wd parts and yota axles.

Rundown of whats to come

--Chassis
Scx10 Chassis running rcbros leaf kit and rc4wd red leafs with rcbros cms.
--Electronics
Will be a holmes combo 7turn puller motor and holmes BR-XL Esc on 2s lipo with a 645 hitec as I keep finding them everywhere. hah
--Drivetrain
rc4wd Ultimate yota axles with a all metal geared axial tranny
--Rim and Tire Combo
rc4wd Steelies with tss scale rings and rc4wd stompers.
--Body
Will be a hilux running clear glass from rc4wd and I am still looking for me some tailights with brackets so let me know..

On to the pics

Here is the steelies still deciding on to use them or not, I do like the look of the though.

Here is a few shots of the body after white washing the bed to give you an idea how it will look bull there is still a full other color going on the top before its finished!

and the bed for reference...

here is the chassis all metal geared tranny and its 90 percent complete as it sits... waiting on the axles to install the rear leafs spring mounts.

let me know what you guys think.

Ok time for an update the color wasnt working for me so Now I have this , pretty sweet huh.

Here is the chassis running yota axles all that is left is to drill the rear of the chassis to mount the front shackles, shown with the red leafs.

And the new ss Compound MTZs from RC4WD the best compound I have felt from them so far and possibly on any tire!!!!! Fit The body perfect and with there height who could blame me for going to 1.9s.

I have sold the 7t puller due just to the fact I dont want to spend 150.00 on axles then another 60.00 to replace the gears when they strip out. But I think they will hanle a 35 turn on 3s ... only time will tell though.

Thats looking good! I really like the blue and I really want to try
those MTZs out, they will look great with that body. I'm working

I'm using an RC4WD trailfinder chassis with the 1st type of Yota axles
that RC4WD came out with. I'm using the red leafs with the Superlift
angled wedges in between the axle and the leafs up front. I had leafs
all around but just felt like changing rear to 4 link. I like the idea of
leafs up front and linked rear.
