I lost our puppy in may... she was 14years old... still think of her everyday... and decide to build this rig in her honor... i also plan to build this somewhat like my first Toy and my last Toy. first toy last toy so currently got the chassis and axles under her with a rcbro's leaf kit... need new springs... and as you can see i've modded the grill to look like my old grill. plans are to use the stock front bumper with a custom built brush guard. and nerf bars and rear bumper and a double double rollbar.. |

great day today!!! i finally drove this bad girl... gonna have to find me a couple of 2s batteries.. gonna run a rooster crawler and hobbico cs70 ( copy of the 645) crawls pretty good... got lots of tuning to do... need to figure out what to do for the rear shocks... need to reverse the hangers and shackles in the front... the axle keeps going back and contacting the front fender at the rear... need to tear the front axle apart and lock it up... open diff. sucks... rear tires tuck pretty good this should be a fun truck once it is completely done... |

a few more updates... spend a good amount of time out in the garage today and yesterday... extended the framerail at the back... and built a shock mount and found some shocks to fit... reworked the front end... turned the shackles around so the tires wouldn't hit the backside of the fenders... may still need to install some fender flares... but we'll see on that... also locked up the front axle so it has true 4x4 action... built a Smittybuilt style rear bumper... I now have a basher body to do all my testing with... i really don't want to run the nice cab until MSD and still more work on the interior... 4 point interior cage... and fitting the new driver... now to fab up the servo winch mount and front wheel wells... |

Love the graphics. Nice build. I suggest a SmittyBuilt front bumper like the rear one. |
