1.5 Early Bronco

I guess its time to start a build thread for this thing. Started gathering parts to get this thing moving.

1.9 boggers reduced to 1.5 by crawler innovations
1.5 voids
rc4wd front scale hubs
Rouge elements rear hubs
K44 axles, only have the front so far
GCM t-case
rc4wd ultimate scale shocks 100mm
Scale frame, homemade unless someone comes out with one
havent decided if I will use the tamiya body or a modified mangler body
goat 2s

Great idea reducing the 1.9's to 1.55's I was wondering what that would look like. Much more realistic looking boggers that way. Something just doesn't look right with the 1.55 mud slingers.

That axle just looks right under there with those tires and wheels definitely use the the tamiya bronco it would look great. "thumbsup"

Those wheels/tires look perfect. Need to try a set myself. This rig is going to be awesome.

Looking good man, I really like those tires.

And for some reason when you told me boggers i was imagining TSL's :D

One question? Where did you get your grill. It looks as if it is a separate piece?

wheels look good. "thumbsup" if you keep it low, a little shorter than normal wheel base and very sharp steering you will be very surprised how it handles. i did that with my bronco and i have no problem keeping up with very well built c2 class rigs in our local comps.

Re: 1.5 Early Bronco

What method did you use to cut your frame rails in half

(I assume you started with one piece of tube, bent it, then cut it in half)
