Default Blue Toyota

toyota hilux cab and bed with an internal rollcage and interior.

i plan on building a toolbox for the rear and a little better bumper for the front and rear.

specs:
honcho kit
1.55 rock stompers
toyota hilux body
1.55 black steel wheels
some brakeline
aluminum seats made by a friend of mine (hobbycrawler)
sidewinder esc
hitec 5955
titan 12t motor
castle bec set to 6.3v

simple bumper and grooved the center lugs on the TSLs




got some seats built by Ben (Hobbycrawler) did a good job on them.
added some seatbelts and recaro emblems as well.

along with a rollbar for the back

some more pics of the interior with sticks, steering wheel, and guns.
still need to print off gauge, and radio stickers.







started sanding the body and going to paint it the color i wanted, Metalic blue, and an internal rollcage.

pics of the cage just being built, i have yet to paint it and mount it

that styrene holds up a lot better to a roll over than i thought.

start of the exo cage, at least the cab area (so i dont keep cracking the top of the cab anymore)

started on it tonight, got one little hoop done. work on, maybe finish, tomorrow sometime. what do you guys think? changes?

for the tubing i use two different sized. the sliders, rollcage, and front stinger are 1/16 brakeline that you can buy at most auto stores. the bumpers are made of 1/4 brakeline.

I am using oxy-acetylene torch and brazing the metal together.

should have the body painted up here soon as well as re-painting the tubework a semi gloss black. ive been very busy the past few days.
