Its worth more to you then anybody else. You put the work into it. I have followed the thread for a long time so I know the time involved. Most people would rather pay for a VP'ed out rig then a custom built one tho. Its hard to put a price on something like this. I have gotten a few offers on mine even tho it wasn't for sale that seemed like a good price for an scx based scaler. Then I thought about the time I had into it and it wasn't worth it to me at all.

that looks better-

on the right drivers inner fender you can see I used a piece of filler material (just a thin strip) to fill in the gap and stiffen things up. It will be sanded smooth later.

This is the start of my engine block, as usual I did it the first time around in paper to check size, dimensions scale, etc...

another- scale is perfect for this truck- the block is sitting quite high here, it is resting ontop of the steering servo/ oil pan. the motor will be severly hacked so I will slip over top of the motor.

another shot-

a true perfect fit!

thoughts?

Any way this PDF can be found??

This thread serves as a reminder as to what can be done with hand tools, and a little determination!

I gave this truck away to a deserving home.

I was glad I documented everything I did here, as it is an invaluable resource for those that think they can not do this or that. step one is always to START!

I hope : 1) they can do it justice. 2) they continue posting updates here as this was one of the most scale builds I've seen.

Thanks for sharing all that work with us!

I could redo the transmission of this rig with a 3d motor and it would be pretty stellar!
