Default Northwest 1.5 LR3 Scale Trail Truck Build

Well,

I started this LR3 Build last fall and put into "Hibernation" for the winter. I just got back to it this weekend and will post progress as I go...

New Bright LR3 1/10 Hardbody
Axial SCX10 Frame/Axels and running gear
Novak 55t Brushed Motor
Rooster Crawler ESC
RC4WD 1.5 Rock Crushers
RC4WD 1.5 Black Stamped Wheels


To Do:
Custom "SkyJacker Themed" supension
JRDS8711 Servo
RC4WD Coilover Scale 100mm shocks (4)
Futaba 4PL w/ Rx
3Racing Winch
Custom front and rear bumpers with KC lights
Custom Roof Rack with KC lights
Wire Harness
Custom Snorkel

Very cool!! I am running the same body and chassis. Still trying to finish my rear bumper and rack. Cant wait to see how this comes along..

Nice.. Those tires look big. I had that body with the 1.9 rock crushers and they looked similar. Cool truck!

So I decided to abandon the original bumper design as I just couldn't get it sqaure with the tools I have.... So Tube Pre-Runner it is!

Also finished up the tube fenders and rock rails along with the winch mount.

Great build, I will be following. For some reason the background of your shop area makes the truck look even better. Real raw, love it.

Finally getting around to posting up some updates...

New rear bumper
Body primed and sanded
Tube work primed
Suspension painted

Still a looooooong way to go....















Started the spare tire carrier...

If you are wanting to do interior, the new bright JK interior fits perfectly with a just a small gap at the dash to window. Just add a little styrene. I did it on mine and it looks great! Nice build!
