| pajero truggy pic heavy
after a smooth and easy deal with scooby i ended up with his pajero truggy so i thought to myself it maybe needs a a re-build and maybe a change so after a few weeks waiting and collecting bits it all starts here fresh back from the powder coaters ;) it is anthrecite and i think it makes a change from black next was sorting out all the bits not a bad collection B) so thought i would make a start tonight and here is what i have done so far motor fitted rear shocks and lower links upper links and axle all fitted thats all for now folks stayed tuned as there is still a long way to go :woohoo: more to follow and still lots to do |

That truggy chassis looks great! Like seeing half cabs with tubes! Nice job on it. You are showing a few shocks in the pics, what ones are you going to use? What are the blue buggy shocks with boots? What length? |

to be honest i cant remember what shocks as they came with it but i think they are HaBAO hyper ones well had a few more hours on it tonight so time for a few more pics still lots to do enjoy front axle links and shocks and bumper now with wheels and tyres (cheers dale) body on (not finished yet) now for front cage and of course the srticulation shots ;) and finally rubber arch trim to fit the cage (cheers mr walker) |

well i was a bit bored today so thought i would give something a try still need tidying up and then work out what hinges to use and how to seat them this was a pain to do as the grill is attatched to the shell unlike the hilux but happy with it so far thats all for now |

Looks great!! How is the upper exo held on? Did I see screw points behind the front bumper? |

it bolts through the plate on the cage at the bottom of the doors and then through the body to the rock sliders i hope this makes sense |

now i have to work out how is going to be best to re-fit right i am looking for help now to re-mount it i tried to use hinges but cant find a way of doing this with out trimming the bonnet like on a real car but dont really want to mess it up so if anybody has any ideas please shout up cheers ian |

well folks more was done today but not by me i just supplied the coffee then it was taken from me so thats it for now till it returns |

well folks the shell returned from the bodyshop and assembly began a big thank you to dave who done most of the assembly was a right pain to get the bits in and on but i think its worth it here's the pics hopefully get it finished tomorrow and also get some lights in it cheers ian |

well folks here goes i think i have got it to where i want it now so thought i would post these before it gets all dirty still have the light kit to fit and work out how and where to do the rears really pleased with the way this has turned out and hope it runs aswell as it looks thought i would weigh it before i use it and it comes in a at a whopping 3.7kg i just hope everything hold out and 1 last thing i have changed the electrics to a tekin rs with losi 17.5 crawler motor with a slightly larger rotor the stock 1 s 13.5 to give better lower end control still need to fit some more accesories but plenty of time for that |
