The wheel and tire combo looks good, like the fat look it gives to the sidewall of the tires.
As for the body mounting, you've got options.

im just not sure which way i want to go with the mounts. posts and pins are OUT, velcro needs a flexy body sometimes to get a good grab (this plastic is rigid), and the bolt thru method is not something i want on my rockers like i did on my "heep" build..

i was thinking of some way to use the body's factory screw holes on the underside going up from the bottom..
the plastic would eventually strip im sure and the battery would be a beeeotch to change..

I have a few mounting options on mine. Would you like to see pictures?

Looking really good. I hadn't thought about using Dingo flares on the front. These bodies are the shiz. I really love the 1:1 Landcruiser trucks.

Thanks! Not sure what to do about the rear end tho. Going class1 is tough
Trying to stay in spec when I'm a class 2+ lover requires restraint...

ok so these body mounts came on my rig when i got it so i can't take credit.
the front:

screws through the grill to a plate on the back side.

The rear:

one screw down through an scx/10 rear crossmember. scx-10 spare tire holder wing-nut thingy makes it quick and easy to take off. (super glueing the nut into the wingnut ensure you wont lose the nut on the trail if you have to take the wing-nut off)

the middle (which i'm not using right now because the front and rear seem to be enough):

the screws that hold the cab to the bed were extended all the way down to the frame where they would go through those drilled holes.

BTW, these wheels Beadlock Wheels - on their narrowest offset will give you a 7.5" width on yota axles. My rig has like 7.4" width on beowulf axles, so thats pretty dang close. you can fit in class 1 NO problem that way. Or tamiya hummer wheels give that same width as well.

If I wasn't so far in with all I've got so far I'd look harder at those wheels!
I'm JUST poking with the dingo fenders and I think I'm getting closer to a bumper/ slider idea.
Thanks for the body mount stuff. I'm sure ill use a combo of some sort to run this pig!

I had some black plastic shims that looked like hockey pucks in there to begin with... I wedged the blocks to help the pinion angle..

I may just make a couple Velcro panels on it and call it good.
It's not a high hp rig so I'm sure it'll be fine..
