Default Home on the Range Rover (new title same build)

I've always wanted to build a Range Rover and had some time to kill today. So I started sketching out the body next thing I knew I was cuttin and gluin and thought I better start a thread before I got to far along. I don't know how fast this build will be (I'm not known for my speedy builds) since all I have is the tires and some styrene. Oh well on to the specs and pics

Body: hand built 70's Range Rover
Chassis: ?
Axles: MRC I think
Tranny: ?
Wheels: 1.55 steelies
Tires: MT Baja MTZ's

This is the body style I'm shooting for

This is what I have done so far

I didnt expect to get this far today. Not having the rest of the parts kinda makes it hard to get excited about going to far. On the up side my B-day is next month maybe I can talk the wife into an early present.

Comming along nicely, what are your plans for the chassis, a scale shassis and suspension setup would be cool.

Awesome styrene skills, my best work with styrene was a rectangle. But then that's how it came out of the package! lol

Thanks, This is only my second attempt at styrene, you just have to jump in and learn as you go. I have learned a lot in just the little bit I have done.

I started the seats this weekend, they are almost done just a bit of filling, sanding and paint

started by building a frame

then boxing them in

then laminate the details on

then do it two more times

just sitting them in for mock up
