great job on this build!

The things n00b says are correct. I use the MM White putty. Same stuff, just white. I haven't found it soften the styrene, but maybe it's because I work quickly in applying and then leave it alone for a couple hours.

The only thing I don't like about scratch builds is that they don't come in a box. Are you going to make a display box for this?
That's an excellent idea. Yes, I will make a box.

Boring update. Sanded more, and started sanding the contour on the front of the roof. Did the basic structure of the windshield frame and filled a couple of minor holes. BORING!

I spent three hours tonight doing this the hard way. Rather than just chop off what I did and build out a new side marker bucket, I Dremeled out so I could keep the existing curvature that I spent some time getting. Stupid. I give up.

Doesn't look like much, but I spent two days shaping the front of the hood to match the real thing. So much sanding.

Thanks a lot from France!

Got some nice progress done this weekend.

Got these roof thingies on.

Lengthened my front bumper. Still some filling and sanding to be done, but once it's resprayed, should look quite nice.

Oh, and I built these seats from a couple Bruiser interiors I had sitting around. I didn't want to use a bench, because that wouldn't have been accurate, and using a bucket seat didn't seem right for the era.

All ready to mount on the interior floor.

They're pretty easy to make. Just some seats, styrene, and the souls of four pixies. Get to it.

Thanks Mr. Bruiser. Sell me some stuff please. I'd like a Bruiser chassis for my Easter present.

About as much as you'd expect in a small toy truck. So no. Unfortunately, but that's a good idea for next time.

Center console is finished. Ready to accept coffees or gelatine drinks.

Also, in keeping with my desire to finish the interior, the door panels have gotten started.

Non-reclining seats... Might as well give up then.

Thanks sir.

Door panels mocked up inside truck. They'll be painted separately before installation.

Thanks!

Rear bits getting there. The bottom is roughly hinged just to make sure it'll work. I've got a pretty cool idea for the top hinge, just hope it'll work like I want it to.

To help keep the hatch in place I put together these miniature struts.
